Terms of Use
These terms explain your use of the Yulaf mobile app and website. For questions about the service, contact us at [email protected].
1. How does Yulaf help you?
Yulaf helps you track ingredients at home, find or create recipes, and plan meals and shopping. Available features may vary by app version and your chosen plan. No specific savings, waste reduction or health outcome is guaranteed.
2. Your account and family use
Keep your account details accurate and protect your sign-in credentials. You can invite family members to a shared kitchen using their own accounts. Ingredients and lists added to a shared kitchen are visible to its members. Add information about others only if you have the right to share it.
When using the service, you must follow the rules on age and capacity to enter into contracts where you live. Obtain permission from your parent or legal representative where required. Family use does not mean that separate child accounts or a verified parental consent system are provided.
3. Recipes, AI and food safety
AI responses, product recognition results, recipes and estimated nutritional values may be inaccurate or incomplete. Check results before saving or using them. Read expiry dates on packaging and assess allergens, cooking requirements and storage conditions yourself. Phone settings or connectivity issues may delay reminders.
Yulaf does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment or individual professional dietary advice. Consult a qualified professional if you have specific health or dietary needs. AI-generated content may not be unique; respect third-party rights when using it.
4. Premium, subscriptions and usage allowances
Before purchasing, review the price, duration, included features, usage limits and renewal conditions shown in the app. Unlimited use is included only if expressly offered on the purchase screen. Allowances used for AI features may appear as “coins” in the app. They are not money or an investment and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Auto-renewing subscriptions renew until cancelled under the conditions displayed by the store where you purchased. Payment is charged through your relevant App Store or Google Play account. Cancel within the period specified by the store to avoid a new-period charge. If a free trial is offered, check the purchase screen for the conditions of its transition to a paid period.
Uninstalling the app or deleting your account does not automatically cancel a subscription. Manage it in the subscription settings of the store where you purchased. You can use that store's support channel for refund requests. Your mandatory consumer rights and applicable withdrawal and refund rights remain unaffected. Conditions for purchased and free usage allowances may differ; disclosures at the time of purchase and store rules apply.
5. Your content and permitted use
You retain rights in original content you upload. To provide the service, you permit us to use that content to process your request, store it, format it where needed and share it with people you choose. This permission is limited to providing the service. Do not upload unlawful, harmful or rights-infringing content; do not disrupt the service or attempt unauthorised access.
Rights in the app software, brand and design belong to their respective rights holders. Subject to exceptions permitted by law, you may not copy or distribute them without permission.
6. External services and privacy
Some features use external AI, authentication, notification, measurement and payment services. The information processed and recipient categories are explained in the Privacy Policy. Accepting these terms does not replace any explicit consent that must be obtained separately. External services may change or experience interruptions.
7. Use through Apple and Google
The licence for an app obtained through Apple is governed by the licence agreement applicable on its App Store product page. Where no custom licence is provided, Apple's standard end-user licence agreement applies. These service terms must not be interpreted to restrict rights granted by that licence. Family sharing and other usage rights permitted by the store apply within the relevant licence.
The Yulaf service provider is responsible for support and content of the Yulaf service. Apple and Google are not parties to these service terms. The stores' own terms and mandatory consumer rights also apply.
8. Stopping use and requesting account deletion
You may stop using the service and initiate a deletion request in the app's account settings. Closing an account and permanently deleting associated data are not the same operation. The Privacy Policy explains data deletion and retention. Contact our support address about the status of your request or if you cannot access your account.
9. Changes and liability
The service may experience interruptions or errors. Access may be restricted to the extent necessary for security or unlawful use. Applicable law and store rules are observed for material changes to the service, prices and terms.
These terms do not remove consumer rights, liability for intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited. Mandatory consumer protection where you live and access to competent consumer arbitration committees, courts or other legal remedies remain unaffected.
